Not Linux compatible, hmm.. Excellent! Well, I don't need any HAL in my computer to screw up the systems.. I am perfectly 100%-proof capable myself!
But to say, HAL actually was quite a nice computer and, to be fare, -he wasn't bad, the error WAS human based. So, there you go! If there's messing up, it's _you_(or your college), not your friendly neighbour AI (except when it comes to bluescreen operatings system, that's an exception).
But to be on the safe side, i'd carry Wesley in my space ship. Just in case. Or Dr. McKay (with Sheppard the best part about that sunken AtlÄntis, by the way) or -you get the point..
